DOES YOUR LANDSCAPE NEED A FACE LIFT?

Landscapes are dynamic and because plants are always growing and changing, even the most well cared for gardens need an overhaul from time to time.  If your yard has begun to look a little drab, you probably just need to edit a bit.  To perk up a planting bed, you might slide the crape myrtle to the right, pop out the old, overgrown junipers and replace them with a new variety of boxwood and some flowering shrubs.  Or, if your grade has gotten a little flat, a few boulders, some fresh soil and a little flare can take care of that.  If this sounds like your landscape, not to worry, you just need a landscape renovation!  We’ll come out to take a look and make recommendations about what to keep, what to change and what to rearrange.  Before you know it, you’ll have a whole new take on your old landscape!

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Want a fabulous garden, but don’t know where to start? Start by calling us!

vreeland sideyardWe know from experience that the bright sun, white sand and salt air so eagerly sought by many of us, bring special challenges to maintaining a landscape.

We have found that the use of good gardening practices, such as maintaining healthy soil and root systems and adequate mulching and watering insures healthy plants.  We know that regular pruning is critical to plant health, optimal bloom, maintaining plant proportion and ultimately, to helping your landscape reach its potential.

These good gardening practices are key to maintaining the vigor that enables a plant to withstand pests and diseases.  If a plant does succumb to stress, however, we use environmentally friendly plant remedies that protect our soils and waterways while they support the good health of your plants.

Our Maintenance Division can serve you by visiting twice a year for Spring and Fall Clean-ups, or by visiting as frequently as once a week to keep your landscape looking perfect.  Each individual maintenance contract is designed to meet the specific needs of your family and your landscape.

Let us bring the seasonal color!

vreeland curveIn addition to maintaining your trees, shrubs and perennials, our Maintenance Division can also plant seasonal color in your landscaped beds and/or containers.  Seasonal plantings (i.e. spring, summer and fall annuals as well as winter greens) keep your garden looking lovely and vibrant during natural pauses in tree, shrub and perennial bloom.

What’s more, container plantings can be fine-tuned for a particular location (windy, sunny, shady) as well as a particular purpose (colorful, edible, scented).  Containers add the finishing touch to your landscape!
